Reviews
Officially my new favorite Monday night spot! Such a beautiful restaurant with wonderful service! This place definitely doesn't disappoint. We had a couple dishes, drinks and dessert and it was still pretty affordable! Will be my go to spot this winter.
This place is 10+ stars. Visited from Miami and came back here twice during my stay. Food is A+, atmosphere is super chill with good music. Solid decor and my favorite spot in Denver. Best happy hour by far as well.
The service was very very very slow on a slow night. The food was incredible. We tried to scallops that we’re on special, if they are available 10/10 recommend. The caramelized pork rolls were a bit spicy with the sauce but were wonderful.
The bar is beautiful and the atmosphere is great. They have a Happy Hour on weekdays 4-6 and all night on Monday.
Stopped by for happy hour on Sunday. They have a big happy hour menu with solid prices. We tried some different cocktails, all were good. Favorite food were probably the bok choy (big serving and great value) and the pork roll. But everything was good.
An unexpected gem hidden under an apartment building. The cool looking crate wall behind the bar and dim lighting gave it a bar-like ambience, with a more restaurant feel behind a half wall around the corner.
There was a surprising amount of mezcal on the bar menu, and happy hour deals (4-7 every day, all day Monday) were great.
The food was incredible, if a bit more seafood forward than I normally prefer. Much more inventive (or hyper regional, in some cases) than I expected, with few named dishes I recognized. Szechuan oil is featured in a few dishes, including the bar peanuts, so you might literally drool from the food. Highly recommend trying them or the Ma La noodle dish. The slow cooked beef cheek was melt-in-your-mouth, and the fresh noodles were perfectly prepared.
I'm very happy I stopped in, and will return to try the Chà Cá Lā Vong the person next to me was raving about.
Great meal! Got the larb with halibut cheek, the beef in betel leaves, the turmeric rockfish, and the beef noodles. Really enjoyed all of it, and there's so much more on the menu we want to come back and try. The bartender made me a mocktail, but I do wish there was a dedicated non-alcoholic drink selection on the menu.
The vibes in here are really fun and lively, the interior is hip and beautiful. Happy hour has some pretty decent dishes, would recommend the papaya salad and the bok choy, which is doused in a flavorful garlic sauce.
The food is ok. I was expecting an upscale version of some Vietnamese dishes, but found myself disappointed. The Rockfish wasn't really anything special, didn't have much Turmeric or Coconut flavor, over powering of dill and fennel.
The Five Spice Duck Confit, lacked any sort of Sichuan numbing oil, the broth was mostly just overwhelming vinegar, didn't get any of that savory duck broth. I will say the duck itself was delicious and fall off the bone. But at $26, I found myself disappointed.
The manager and staff were very nice and service was a 5/5 hands down. I really wanted to like this place but the food is just not elevated Vietnamese. And some of the food simply isn't Vietnamese either. Sichuan is as Chinese as it comes. Udon is Japanese. The menu lacks an identity. Simply put, the food doesn't match the price.
Great option for innovative Vietnamese food in a cool environment with a solid bar! The fresh spring rolls were delicious and refreshing and the beef cheek noodles were so tender and flavorful! Service was on point and the music was solid but you could still hear your table. Ill definitely be back!
